INTRODUCTION TO DRAWING

This subject provides an introduction to technical drawings. It introduces students to the fundamentals of technical drawing through a variety of exercises that are relevant to the actual world. Students were required to understand and translate measurements and data with drawing conventions using the correct drawing tools that are understandable in the construction industry in order to demonstrate their ability to convert three-dimensional space and objects into two-dimensional orthographic drawings.

The module's goal is to help students learn how to sketch basic representations of the built and natural environments. It introduces students to various drawing approaches and encourages them to experiment with them in order to improve their communication abilities in the construction sector.

REFLECTION

In this module - Introduction to Drawing (ITD), i have learned and gained a lot of knowledge and understanding on technical drawing including the drawing convention, types of lines, dimensions etc. The overall challenge that i faced on this module is we are unable to meet our lecturer and tutor due to the pandemic outbreak. Thus, i am not be abled to show my progress face to face with my lecturer or tutor to identify the mistakes and improvements that i can make in my past, current assignment. I am happy and glad to have our kind lecturer, Mr Akmal. He gave us mentally support and asked us not to get stress during the online classes. I have learned a lot in this module as well as achieved some TGC

TG1 - DISCIPLINE SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE

TG4 - COMMUNICATION SKILL

TG5 - INTERPERSONAL SKILL

TG6 - INTRAPERSONAL SKILL
